AI-CV Interview Copilot Privacy Policy

What the extension does

AI-CV Interview Copilot captures visible closed-caption text from supported browser meeting pages after you connect the extension to your AI-CV account and confirm that you have permission to capture captions in the meeting. The captured captions can be synced to an AI-CV interview session so the service can generate answer suggestions, transcript notes, and interview review material.

What we collect

• •Your AI-CV account and extension pairing token.
• •The selected CV variant used as context for the interview assistant.
• •Visible caption text, caption timestamps, meeting page host, and meeting page URL.
• •Generated interview answers, notes, reports, and related session metadata.

What we do not collect

The extension does not access your microphone, camera, system audio, screen pixels, desktop apps, meeting provider APIs, files on your computer, browser history outside supported meeting pages, or payment card details. It reads only caption text that is already visible in the browser meeting page.

How we use the data

We use the captured captions and selected CV context to operate the live interview assistant, sync the transcript to your dashboard, avoid asking the AI provider for duplicate answers when a saved answer already exists, and generate interview review summaries for your own preparation.

We do not sell personal data. We do not use captured interview content for advertising or third-party tracking.

Third-party processing

AI-CV uses hosting, database, storage, and AI model providers to deliver the service. Caption text and CV context may be sent to the configured AI model provider only to generate the requested interview assistance. These providers are used as processors for the service and are not permitted by AI-CV to use your data for advertising.

Your controls

• •Start, stop, hide, or clear caption capture from the extension controls.
• •Choose whether caption sync is enabled in the extension popup.
• •Open, review, and delete interview sessions from the AI-CV dashboard.
• •Log out or unpair the extension to remove the local extension token.

Retention and security

Interview sessions are retained in your AI-CV account until you delete them or delete your account. Operational backups may persist for a limited period. Extension pairing tokens are stored in Chrome extension storage on your device, and synced requests are sent to AI-CV over HTTPS.

Meeting consent

You are responsible for following the rules that apply to your interview or meeting, including any laws, company policies, platform terms, or participant consent requirements. Do not start capture unless you have permission to do so.
