Privacy Policy

What we collect

We collect the information you provide when you create an account (email address, optional name), the resume files you upload for parsing, the job descriptions you paste, and the career profile data you enter. We also collect usage data about which features you use and when.

How we use it

Your data is used to operate AI-CV: to tailor CVs and cover letters, track your job applications, and manage your subscription. We send transactional emails (account verification, password reset) but no marketing email unless you opt in.

Resume files and generated documents are stored on your behalf in AWS S3. AI processing is done via the Anthropic API. We pass the content of your profile and job descriptions to the Anthropic API but do not store your data on Anthropic servers beyond the scope of each API call.

Data retention

Your account data is retained until you delete your account. AI usage logs are automatically purged after 90 days. When you delete your account, all personal data including uploaded resumes is permanently deleted within 24 hours.

Your rights

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from the Settings page. You can export your profile data by downloading your CV variants. To request a copy of all data we hold about you, or for any other data-related request, contact us at privacy@ai-cv.app.

Cookies

We use session cookies to keep you logged in (access token, refresh token). These are strictly necessary for the service to function. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising cookies.

Third parties
